Visiones cuánticas

Spatial conceptualization and audiovisual production of the mediation area accompanying the exhibition 'Quantum Visions' at Tabakalera (Donostia / San Sebastián), carried out with the scientific advice of the communication team of the DIPC (Donostia International Physics Center).
The exhibition, curated by Monica Bello, aims to bring the poetic and philosophical dimensions of Quantum to a general public through art installations, case studies and a mediation space. The exhibition includes the participation of artists such as Adriana Knouf, Jaione Camborda, Joan Heemskerk, Semiconductor, Nicole L'Huillier, Libby Heaney, Yunchul Kim, Alice Bucknell, Abelardo Gil Fournier, Yuri Pattinson and Marina Rosenfeld.

The mediation space, conceived by Morgancrea, developed by the Moduz collective and produced by Tabakalera, is inspired by an atom, with a central touch screen as a nucleus, and 6 vertical screens that form a semicircle and approach the universe of quantum from various perspectives: a general introduction, a tour of the properties, applications and history of quantum, the influence on culture and art, ending with the presentation of the future quantum computer that IBM will install in 2025 in San Sebastian.

The audiovisuals have been co-written and presented by scientists and popularizers such as José Luis Crespo (Quantum Fracture), Sonia Fernández-Vidal, Juan Ignacio Cirac (Max Planck Institute), Aran Garcia-Lekue (Ikerbasque) and Javier Aizpurua (BasQ). The design of the audiovisuals follows the concept created by Moduz for the exhibition, and for the animations we have counted on the designer Noelia Lozano.
